Roxxy Walkthrough – Summertime Saga (School Social Chain Route Breakdown)

Roxxy looks like a straightforward high school route on the surface. She’s popular, she’s at school, you see her constantly. But she is one of the most socially gated characters in the entire game.

You cannot charm your way into her route. You cannot grind stats and expect progress. Until Dexter’s situation is handled, Roxxy’s affection path is essentially locked — and the game never tells you that clearly.

What Makes Roxxy Different

Every other major route has one primary blocker. Diane needs Erik. Mia needs your Intelligence stat. Debbie needs the main story.

Roxxy needs a person removed.

Dexter is her boyfriend at the start of the game and he is a hard gate. Not a soft one. Not a “maybe progress anyway” situation. Until his storyline resolves, Roxxy will not move past surface-level interactions no matter what you do or how many times you talk to her.

What makes this worse is that Dexter’s storyline involves other characters and locations completely separate from Roxxy. Players chasing her route focus entirely on her and ignore the chain that actually needs completing. That’s the mistake.

She’s also tied loosely to her friend group — Missy and Becca — meaning some mid-route interactions involve navigating those relationships as well. Roxxy’s route is the most socially complex in the game.

Where to Find Roxxy (Time & Location)

Roxxy is a school character with a few location shifts in the late route.

Her key locations:

• School hallway — early interactions, first conversations, establishing presence
• Bleachers / outdoor area — mid-route hangout spot, important for specific scenes
• Her house — late route only, triggered by story progression not player choice

Timing:

• Weekday mornings and afternoons — primary interaction windows
• Some weekend availability at her house in the late route
• Evenings at school are dead — don’t waste time there

Similar to Mia’s school-based timing, evening and weekend visits to campus during early and mid-route will yield nothing meaningful.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Step 1 – Resolve Dexter First (Non-Negotiable)

Before you do anything else on this route — before you talk to Roxxy more than once, before you try any dialogue options, before you think about stat building — go handle Dexter. His storyline runs through the school and involves confrontation that needs to play out fully. Don’t half-complete it. Once Dexter is resolved, Roxxy’s attitude toward you shifts noticeably. New dialogue options appear. The route actually begins.

Step 2 – Hallway Conversations (Early Relationship Building)

With Dexter out of the picture, start showing up to the school hallway during weekday mornings. These early Roxxy conversations establish your presence in her world. She’s guarded early. Don’t expect warmth immediately. The early hallway phase is about showing up consistently — not grand gestures or the right dialogue choice. Talk to her daily during school hours. Let the familiarity build naturally.

Step 3 – Navigate the Friend Group (Missy and Becca)

Mid-route, Roxxy’s progression becomes partially dependent on how you handle Missy and Becca. These aren’t full separate routes you need to complete — but you do need to interact with them enough that they’re not actively working against you socially. Players who ignore Missy and Becca entirely sometimes find Roxxy’s mid-route stalling in a way that feels random. It’s not random. Her friend group’s opinion of you matters. Keep those interactions positive.

Step 4 – Bleacher Scenes

As the relationship builds, specific scenes trigger at the school bleachers and outdoor areas. These are not player-initiated — they fire when affection and story conditions are both met. Be at school during the day. Don’t skip days. The bleacher scenes can be easy to miss if you’re spending weekdays away from campus chasing other routes.

Step 5 – Late Route and Her House

The final stretch of Roxxy’s route moves to her house. This is story-triggered and can’t be forced through repetition. Pay attention to her dialogue during the bleacher phase — she gives cues about what comes next. Players who rush through her conversations at this stage miss the timing signals and then wonder why nothing is progressing at her house.

Hard Blockers

• Dexter not fully resolved — this is the wall. Every player who reports Roxxy being completely unresponsive has the same problem. Go finish Dexter’s storyline completely before returning.
• Charisma too low — not a hard stop like Dexter, but low Charisma means mid-route dialogue options don’t appear and the affection meter moves noticeably slower.
• Friend group neglected — Missy and Becca sitting at zero interaction creates friction mid-route. They don’t need full routes completed — just enough positive interaction to not be obstacles.
• Visiting campus in the evenings — same issue as Mia’s route. Evening school visits during early and mid-route give nothing. Weekday daytime only.

Failure States

The single most common broken run with Roxxy: player talks to her for days, sees no change, checks stats, raises Charisma, still nothing. They’ve ignored Dexter completely. Go resolve Dexter. The route will begin almost immediately after.

Second common failure: player resolves Dexter but rushed through his storyline, leaving a flag incomplete. Roxxy still doesn’t fully respond. The fix — check whether Dexter’s arc actually concluded with a proper end scene. If it ended mid-conversation or felt abrupt, it may not have fully registered.

Third failure: missing bleacher scenes by spending too many days away from school chasing other routes. Unlike Jenny’s time-based route where waiting is actually the mechanic, Roxxy requires physical presence at school. Missing days means missing triggers.
